Description

The Hermès Picotin Lock 18 in Orange Clemence leather with palladium hardware is a study in contrasts-soft texture meets structured silhouette. Its design resembles a neatly drawn pouch, cinched at the top and secured with a minimalist lock clasp. Clemence leather is prized for its pebbled grain, subtle matte finish, and flexibility. It remains supple in cold weather, resists minor scratches, and develops a rich patina over time. At 2.5-3 mm thick, the leather provides structure without rigidity, molding gently around its contents. To the touch, Clemence feels like dense silk with a velvety depth, while the aniline dye ensures the Orange hue stays vibrant under sunlight and against fabrics.

Production takes 5-7 weeks, with each stitch hand-sewn using Fil au Chinois thread. The base is reinforced with leather feet, and the interior pocket is lined in suede.
